The Amsterdam NDSM shipyard

I recently visited the Amsterdam NDSM shipyard. The NDSM shipyard has been one of the largest shipyards in Amsterdam, and is now developing itself into a creative city at the north bank of the IJ river. Where  events such as Over het IJ Festival, Valtifest, Amsterdam Water Festival and NDSM Vrijhaven are hosted today as well as monumental art in public space. It is immensely photogenic and in one afternoon I have shot pictures like this one, this onethis one and this one. I took the picture featured in this post in one of the halls. I like the rhythm and the butter smooth bokeh of the awesome Summilux lens. More pictures to come! 🙂

People, Street

I caught these boy’s running as I was taking a stroll on the boulevard of Scheveningen. This boulevard designed by Manuel de Solá Morales Rubió, is a great piece of architecture, see this other picture I took that evening. I like the  joyful rhythm of the running boys and the mood as well in this particular picture. I hope you do too.
