Beauty of vintage cars

As you can see in former posts like this and this one, I have a weak spot for all that’s vintage and cars in general. So when I stumble across a vintage car and I have one of my camera’s with me, I make sure I take a picture. Most of the time pictures like this one, a vintage BMW 5-series parked along one of many canals in Amsterdam. Shot at wide aperture with the Summilux. I like the way this lens renders the in and out of focus area’s so much, it makes me shoot a lot wide open.BMW 5 serie_Kodak Tri-X (1 of 1)

Stairs

Some scenes immediately translate into black and white pictures, like this one. I took it on my walk to the Scheveningen boulevard.  Stairs

Aware

As soon as you are aware of your surroundings, you start to perceive things you would have not noticed otherwise. When I walked across the boulevard of Scheveningen, I noticed this pattern in the sand. I immediately imaged it in black and white, although I had a color negative film, Porta 400, loaded in the OM-2.
